First BattleTech mini. They're a pleasure to paint when you're used to 28mm and you don't need many models to play which is awesome too! :)London Irishhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02795944425885858912noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5936121898405920877.post-75314233890315040102017-04-27T11:24:01.951-04:002017-04-27T11:24:01.951-04:00I sprayed it with the airbrush. You're correct about the clunkiness, but I still see them through early teen eyes, so it's not a problem. But who wouldn't want to pilot a Blackhawk!!!TThttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06864634690185960352noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5936121898405920877.post-86160667797954304872016-04-02T07:25:56.617-04:002016-04-02T07:25:56.617-04:00Thanks!

The archer is indeed quite cool.

I like the look of a lot of the later additions, like the Clan mechs, but not so keen on the Clans themselves, or the complications to the game that followed them.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15795778015136292737noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5936121898405920877.post-42957058272509138742016-04-02T03:31:16.789-04:002016-04-02T03:31:16.789-04:00They've come out quite well all things conside...They've come out quite well all things considered, nice work!

Some of the mechs are indeed ugly and clunky, particularly the ones designed by FASA, rather than the ones they 'borrowed' from elsewhere. The Marauder is my favourite, followed by the original Archer design and the rest of the 'originals' in the old 3025 manual.

Given all the mechs that were added subsequently, in retrospect I have to say 'less is more'.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
